The Weaver

Ashita Shah-Bohra’s story began in India, where she was born into a family deeply enmeshed in the diamond and jewelry business. As a girl, her family’s pioneering spirit took them to America, and it was there that she began to come into her own as a seeker. 

It's an impulse that runs deep in her DNA, one that pushed generations before her to the ends of the earth in search of rare and precious gemstones. In her, it manifested in an endless curiosity; a desire to gain her own wisdom and fly deep into the mysteries of life.

As she knitted the lessons passed down from her family together with her own experiences as a young woman in Los Angeles, she began to weave for herself: a tapestry defined by beauty and wisdom.

The finer details of the design of her life came sharply into focus when she met Arun Bohra. In Arun, she found her balance: the yin to her yang. An act of rebellion borne out of true love, Ashita took a tremendous risk to follow Arun’s tug on her heartstrings. 

Though powerful on their own, together, Ashita and Arun became a great force of creation. Their love is the thread running through everything they do. And in ArunAshi, they’ve woven together their heritages, personalities, hopes, and dreams into something precious and utterly their own.
